The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy Book

Something Different- The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy!

Different than the usual. This post is not my regular travel post. I thought of sharing something from my routine. I hope you will like it.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind Book by Dr. Joseph Murphy

Currently reading, The Power of your Subconscious Mind – Dr.Joseph Murphy. Quite a popular read amongst book-lovers. I am always fascinated by how the mind works. It is such a complex structure that decoding is almost an impossible task. You can fly from one place to another in microseconds and bring back memory photos from the storage within an eye-blink. So, how important it is to control what is controlling you. I like reading about spaces and mind a lot. So, today in this post, I will be sharing the excerpts from the book – The Power of you Subconscious Mind. Though, I have not completely read it but there are certain highlights which I want to share with you.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy

So, here we go….

  • You are what you think all day long – good or bad, choice is yours.
  • You have the power to choose – choose wisely – happiness, gratitude, joyous or sadness, ungrateful.
  • Your subconscious mind doesn’t argue with you; it accepts what your conscious mind commands.
  • Your conscious mind is the watchman at the gate to protect your subconscious mind from false impressions.
  • Watch what you say, your subconscious mind can’t take a joke and bring all negative or positive things to pass.
  • Do not let others think for you. Choose your own thoughts.
  • You have the power to choose how will you react.
  • Every thought is a cause and every condition is an effect.
  • Your subconscious knows all the answers.
  • You are the captain of your soul – chose life, love, health and happiness.

I hope you liked all the highlights. Let me know if you wish I should continue writing about the holistic thoughts and something about health and fitness as well. I was also thinking to post Yoga poses and brief information about it. Though, I am not a pro, but can share whatever little knowledge I have.

Share your thoughts. Would love to read from you.

Yes, absolutely positive book one should read once in a lifetime. But lost importantly, to implement the things which is written inside.

Loved your photography as usual, Nanchi. You’re the best.

      1. You’re probably the only blogger whom I allow you to please come and let me know when you post anything.

I usually don’t get time to read my feed due to multiple things I do throughout the day. And you do that so religiously. Thank you, and keep up the great work.

You’ll go so far. My good wishes are with you.

  3. I love how you summarized the main ideas. Seeing them together has a more powerful message. It’s hard to rewire your thoughts but I know it’s possible. SOunds like a great book.

    1. Thank you Pamela for dropping by. I am glad you liked the idea of highlights. It is very much possible to rewire the thoughts and it takes a lot of time and focus. I try to pursue it with bit of meditation in my lifestyle. It is a nice book; I am still on it…😊

  4. Strange are the ways the human brain works. Nobody knows 100% for sure..!!
I partly agree with the points you mentioned. Too much of negative feelings do no good, and unnecessarily leads to stress, which affects one’s own physical health in a negative way. Now I am not saying that one should keep smiling when he / she is getting punched in the face or he / she is threatened by a barking dog. But yes, for most of the other practical purposes and daily life, one should choose happy thoughts, consciously.
Good post Madam. I shall try reading this book.. 🙂

    1. Very helpful book in the time of distress. Yes, since we have time in hand, we can utilize it for something positive. 🙂 Today, I posted about the Redwoods Forest, Rotorua. Please have a look, if you are interested. Thanks Betty! 😊😊

  6. Nanchi, I know you and I have only recently become acquainted in blogland, but I did feel an immediate connection to your energy and now that has become very clear why! I am obsessed with how the mind works with all of the intermingling of our conscious and subconscious voices versus the messages we receive from outside as well. I spend hours every day in contemplation of these things and then I try to untangle my thoughts in order to put them into words on topics such as these. I am always ready to learn something new in order to further my own personal evolution. I have not read this book, but I am definitely interested in checking it out. Thanks so much for sharing and linking up.

  7. I’ve not heard of this book but I like your summation of the wisdom contained within it. The human brain is fascinating. Control yourself, that’s about as much as anyone can hope for.

    1. Yes, you said that, Ally. Human brain is so mysterious and I love observing it. Controlling the mind and thoughts is not as difficult as it sounds but still people have hard time, including me. Focusing on right thoughts is the most important. 😊😊
